This means family and friends are welcome. :) About: A second look can reveal what we missed, invite new possibilities, or transform our understanding of an experience, sometimes leaving us with more questions than answers.’@fterthought’ brings together works revisited, reworked, and reconsidered by students in Dominick Rivers’ (Assistant Professor of Digital Art) courses, spanning Imaging & Digital Art, Introduction to Time-Based Media, and Video Art. Featuring interactive video art, sound installations, a playful karaoke station, and other multimedia works, the exhibition explores the fluid nature of creative practice and the possibilities that emerge when a work is never truly finished. Ideas shift, meanings evolve, and new interpretations surface, challenging the notion of a definitive endpoint. Yet the afterthought extends beyond the work itself. It is the image that lingers, the sound that echoes, the idea that takes hold, or the feeling that stays with us long after an encounter has ended. ‘@fterthought’ invites viewers to pause, look again, and consider what remains, what changes with time, and what new meanings emerge through reflection.
